Thinking of waste as a resource: We provide transparency regarding materials and make waste streams measurable and usable. Using data-driven analysis and a growing knowledge base, we optimize recycling and prevent waste.
We develop technologies for analyzing complex waste streams. In doing so, we enable more efficient utilization, strengthen the circular economy, and increase energy recovery while reducing reliance on fossil fuels—from waste-to-energy to recycling and sorting.
WasteAnt was founded about five years ago as a spin-off from joint doctoral and research projects conducted as part of initiatives funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). As one of the early pioneers in the field of AI-powered waste analytics, we have since grown into an established technology provider for industrial waste management.
Today, our team consists of over 25 employees with international experience and interdisciplinary expertise in software development, machine learning, robotics, research, and industrial applications. Our solutions are Made in Germany and are continuously refined based on real-world experience for real-world applications.
